Peace and Remembrance
As we marked 80 years since the end of World War II, and Anzac Day neared, we took a journey through song that echoes war’s impact —from the longing of those left behind, to the fears of soldiers, the horrors of war, and the solace of remembrance. Through song, we honour sacrifice, seek peace, and hold onto hope for a better future.
This program was presented in two versions. The first was the full program in our regular concert format with ticketing via Trybooking. The second was a shortened version to fit the format of a free lunchtime Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concert, performed before an enthusiastic audience of around 1300 people.
