Songs of the Earth

Saturday 9 September 2023

This one-of-a-kind event took us on a musical journey through the rich traditions of gardening and cultivation in Australia and Europe to the global environmental awakening of the 20th century.

Jerry Coleby-Williams (from ABC-TV’s Gardening Australia) provided expert commentary in his own inimitable style as we went on this journey through the natural world.

Christmas in Blue

Sunday 3 December 2023

A sellout audience sipped something festive, relaxed and listened to Christmas carols set in the jazz idiom by UK composers Will Todd and Pete Churchill, and locals Kelsey Giarola and Ian Maurer. This was a twilight concert starting at 5.00pm.

Director of music Dr. Debra Shearer-Dirié conducted ChoirWorks, accompanied by a jazz ensemble featuring vocalist Kelsey Giarola.
