Tax Deductible Donations
ChoirWorks Inc. has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status which means donations which you make to the choir can be claimed as a deduction on your income tax return.
All deposits of $2.00 or more are eligible for tax deductibility. You can also donate in the form of physical items or ‘belongings’ providing a description and/or provenance, even if the value may be uncertain or unknown.
If you wish to make a donation, whether tax deductible or not, please make sure it is deposited in the name of our Public Fund ‘ChoirWorks Gift Account’ for which the bank details are below.
Account name: ChoirWorks Gift Account
A typical concert with orchestra costs the choir $12000 or more to stage. ChoirWorks seeks to ensure ticket prices for its concerts are accessible to all, including families, but this means ticket sales alone can be insufficient to cover costs.
